Chaboiganing Preserve and the Colonial Point Forest is a great place to stop and stretch your legs. With over 450 acres and several miles of hiking trails, one might just want to make this a destination trip of its own. The preserve and forest range from open field to old growth forest. Located close by is the Maple Bay State forest campground on Burt Lake. A great place for a picnic.
